I bought this timer for several rental buildings because I thought having a light timer that would automatically adjust entry lights with the Seasons would be great.Intermatic seemed to be the dominant brand you can get at hardware stores and such.

BUT ALL OF THE TIMERS FAILED.Every single one would forget its programming.Not a battery problem.They would just forget.
Programming them is no fun.The instructions are iffy (and the print is smudgy and microscopic).It's no fun at all to have to over an reprogram one of these pieces of junk every few months (or weeks - or sometimes days).

I have now ripped them all out and replaced them with Aube (very similar product available on Amazon.The Aube that automatically adjusts for the seasons is called "Solar." I have one Aube that's been running without a problem for two years.

You would think since Intermatic specializes in timers they would've managed to make this product work.

It has other faults.A strange battery.A hard to read display.Poorly written instructions.
But the Intermatic timers (including the regular 7 day electronic timers) I have purchased simply do not work.

This easy to program timer provides up to 40 ON/OFF operations per week which can be used for 24-hour or 7-day load control. The astronomic feature provides sunset ON and sunrise OFF settings and the auto daylight savings adjustment means you can "set-it and forget-it".
