(More customer reviews)I hooked one of these up to 6 recessed lights I installed in my kitchen.It was very noisy even though my 450 Watts of lights should be well below the 600W rating.I realize all dimmers hum slightly, but this was obnoxious and I had to return it.

This three-way incandescent dimmer features a built-in nightlight and a convenient slider to control the dimming function. It includes R.F.I. suppression with power-failure memory, is easy to install, and the satin eggshell color blends well with many interior color schemes. Designed to control lighting loads of up to 600 watts where the lighting is operated from more than one location, such as a hallway or top and bottom of a stairway (use 3- or 4-way mechanical switches at remote locations--not included). The preset feature maintains a preferred light level. Please note the designer-style wallplate is not included. DL # 4031.
